Kathmandu . A member of the ruling coalition CPN (Unified Socialist), has secured a total of 14 seats in the Provincial Assembly (PA) in the November 20, elections for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly (PA).
According to the Election Commission (EC), CPN (Unified Socialist) has won 10 seats in the HoR election and 14 seats in the PA election.
CPN (US)’s Rama Ale Magar has been elected in the PA election from Kathmandu-10 ‘B’ by obtaining 5,818 votes. Her opponent Ram Saran Ale Magar, a candidate of CPN (UML) received 5,188 votes.
Rajendra Man Shrestha, candidate of CPN (US) has won the PA election from Bhaktapur-2 ‘B’ with 8,341 votes against his opponent Chandan Shrestha from CPN (UML) who received 8,031 votes.
Dirgha Bahadur Sodari from CPN (US) is elected from Kailali-4’A’ in the PA election by receiving 13,511 votes against his nearest competitor Bhim Bahadur Deuba from CPN (UML) who got 9,445 votes. Pramod Kumar Yadav has won from the Siraha-3 ‘B’ in the PA election by securing 9,976 votes against his opponent of Nepali Congress who received 8,014 votes.
Likewise, CPN (US)’s Gobinda Bahadur Neupane is elected as a member of the PA from Saptari-4 ‘A’ against his opponent Bal Krishna Chaudhary of CPN (UML).
Neupane received 11,429 votes while his opponent received 5,421 votes.
Similarly, other candidates of CPN (Unified Socialist) who are elected as a member of the PA election are Basanta Prasad Manandhar has been elected as a member of the PA from Kathmandu-7 ‘A’, Khinu Langwa Limbu from Ilam1 ‘A’, Rajendra Kumar Rai from Bhojpur-1‘A’, Krishna Khanal from Chitwan-1 ‘B’, Laxman Lamsal from Kavrepalanchowk-2 ‘A’, Kanish Patel from Rautahat-2 ‘B’, Prakash Bahadur Rawal from Kanchanpur-3 ‘B’, Kamal Prasad Jagebu from Panchthar -1 ‘A’, and Bechi Lungeli from Sarlahi-1 ‘B’.
