Chitwan. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed grief over the death of Tilak Prasad Sapkota, a social and political personality of Gandakot.
Prime Minister Deuba went to Sapkota residence in Gaindakot to express his condolences to his family who passed away on 23rd October.
In the politics of Nepali Congress. Expressing gratitude for Sapkota’s contribution, Prime Minister Deuba said that his death has caused a great loss to the party as a whole.
In the book published by Sapkota, the contribution of Sapkota in making Gandakot of Nawalparasi self-sufficient, entrepreneurial and green in terms of natural resources is as remarkable as it is incomparable in terms of youth empowerment, public awareness and educational promotion.

Sapkota, a permanent resident of Gaindakot Municipality-8, was a leading figure in Nawalparasi district in the political and social spheres. He was born on 17th March 2001 in Damek of Baglung, he was known as a senior leader of Nepali Congress in Nawalparasi. Sapkota was suffering from asthma.
