Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petrol and diesel. The corporation has reduced the price of petrol and diesel by one rupee each. The corporation reduced the price after the price was reduced yesterday by the Indian Oil Corporation.
According to the corporation, the price of petrol per liter from India has decreased by 1 rupee 26 paise and the price of diesel and kerosene has decreased by 83 paise per liter.
Under the first category, in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwari, Nepalganj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 163 50 paisa and diesel price has been fixed at Rs 153 50 paisa per liter.
Under the second category, the price of petrol in Surkhet and Dang has remained at Rs 165 per liter and diesel at Rs 155 per liter. Similarly, under the third category, the price of petrol per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal has remained at Rs 166 per liter and the price of diesel has remained at Rs 156 per liter, according to the corporation. The previous price of gas is Rs 1,895 per cylinder.
